✏️キャリア教育授業🏫 西宮市立大社小学校でキャリア教育授業の講演をしてきました。 紙造形作家として ✏️キャリア教育授業🏫 西宮市立大社小学校でキャリア教育授業の講演をしてきました。 紙造形作家としての具体的な仕事の内容や、 作家になったきっかけ、やりがいや大切にしていることなど、事前にいただいた質問に答えながらお話ししました。 作品を見る真剣な表情、 また私の話も考えながら聞いてくれているのが伝わってきて、こちらの背筋が伸びる時間でした。 大社小学校6年生のみなさん、ありがとうございました。 ✏️Sharing My Journey as a Paper Sculptor🏫 I gave a career education talk at Taisha Elementary School in Nishinomiya. I talked about my work as a paper sculptor, how I became an artist, what I value in my practice, and what makes this work meaningful to me, while answering questions the students had prepared in advance. The sixth-grade students listened so carefully and looked at the works with such curiosity. It was a thoughtful and inspiring time for me as well. This work was inspired by the colors of Spanish streets and the plants found in traditional patios. It hated being stared at— locking eyes would instantly trigger its temper. This piece was created for a winter exhibition themed around “reptiles,” imagining a dinosaur carrying a tiny forest glowing with red berries. This chameleon measures approx. 38cm × 30cm × 4.5cm at its thickest. Paper Installation Series カメレオン / Chameleon ② 4番 Paper Installation Series カメレオン / Chameleon ② 4番目の動物はカメレオン。 これまた大きめの赤ちゃんカメレオン。 まだ体はぺたんこです。 スタジオ壁面の装飾のための動物たちを制作しています😊 The fourth animal in this series is a chameleon — another big baby chameleon in the making. Its body is still flat, but it will gradually become three-dimensional as the piece develops. 🐘Behind the Scenes🐘🐘 片面ダンボールのぞうさんの制作過程をご紹介します！ こちら 🐘Behind the Scenes🐘🐘 片面ダンボールのぞうさんの制作過程をご紹介します！ こちらの作品には、たくさんのご質問やお褒めの言葉をいただきました。 2016年に梱包材メーカー、株式会社タナックス様より、販促用としてご依頼いただいて制作した、片面段ボール「クレダン」のぞうさんです。 まずは 頭から骨格をつくり、 そこに少しずつ紙を重ねて 肉付けしていきます。 パーツを重ねることで、だんだんとゾウらしいボリュームに。 最後に細部を丁寧に整えて、完成！ 当時は子どもが小さく、リビングで一緒に過ごしながら制作した思い出深い作品です。 Sharing the making process of my corrugated cardboard elephant! I received so many questions and kind comments about this piece. Thank you. This elephant was created in 2016 as a promotional artwork for Tanax Inc., using their one-sided corrugated cardboard called “CLEDAN.” I started by shaping the head, then gradually added layers of cardboard to build up the form and volume. Piece by piece, the elephant began to take shape. After refining the details… it was complete!
