The template is featured in CO-OP magazine “Station” (January issue), currently available. Simply cut and layer colored paper. The small pieces are now complete. Chicks, butterflies, mice, and fish — each measuring around 15 cm wide. Paper Installation Series Small Pieces ① / Fish🐠🐡 Paper Installation Series Small Pieces ① / Fish🐠🐡 春のイベントで使用される壁面作品を制作しています。 大きな作品に加えて、可愛い色の粒になる、小さな作品もいくつか制作中です。 こちらは緑の小さなお魚たち。 サイズはおよそ 横15cm、縦10cmほど。 書籍『動物と昆虫の立体切り紙工作』に掲載している魚のモチーフよりも、展示用として少し大きめに制作しています。 I am currently creating wall-mounted paper works for a spring event.🐡 Alongside the larger pieces, I am also developing several smaller works that function as colorful accents within the installation.🐠 These are small green fish motifs. Approximate size: W 15 cm × H 10 cm. Compared to the fish designs featured in my book “Easy & Fun! 3D Kirigami Animals and Insects,” these versions are made slightly larger, specifically for exhibition display. ✏️キャリア教育授業🏫 西宮市立大社小学校でキャリア教育授業の講演をしてきました。 紙造形作家として ✏️キャリア教育授業🏫 西宮市立大社小学校でキャリア教育授業の講演をしてきました。 紙造形作家としての具体的な仕事の内容や、 作家になったきっかけ、やりがいや大切にしていることなど、事前にいただいた質問に答えながらお話ししました。 作品を見る真剣な表情、 また私の話も考えながら聞いてくれているのが伝わってきて、こちらの背筋が伸びる時間でした。 大社小学校6年生のみなさん、ありがとうございました。 ✏️Sharing My Journey as a Paper Sculptor🏫 I gave a career education talk at Taisha Elementary School in Nishinomiya. I talked about my work as a paper sculptor, how I became an artist, what I value in my practice, and what makes this work meaningful to me, while answering questions the students had prepared in advance. The sixth-grade students listened so carefully and looked at the works with such curiosity. It was a thoughtful and inspiring time for me as well. This work was inspired by the colors of Spanish streets and the plants found in traditional patios. It hated being stared at— locking eyes would instantly trigger its temper. This piece was created for a winter exhibition themed around “reptiles,” imagining a dinosaur carrying a tiny forest glowing with red berries.
